Munda discusses Jharkhand issue with Sumitra Mahajan

New Delhi, Jun 1 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today met BJP Vice President Sumitra Mahajan, who is also incharge of the state to discuss latest political and organisational developments.

Asked about the meeting, party sources said the discussion was mainly regarding the strengthening of the party in the state where the party has a wafer thin majority in an evenly balanced state Assembly. He also informed her about Tata Motors setting up a manufacturing unit in the state and the MOU signed between the state government and the industrial major.

Last night Mrs Mahajan had an meeting with newly appointed BJP Zonal Secretary incharge of the state Mr Hriday Nath Singh, party State Organising Secretary Ranjan Patel and state party President Yadunath Pande. Mr Munda could not be present because of his Mumbai meeting sources said.
