Gaurav released on bail

Hamirpur, June 1 (UNI) A local court today released Gaurav on bail after a four-day police remand following his arrest from a guest house where Swami Ramdev was staying on May 27.

Rejecting the prosecution's demand for extending his police custody, Hamirpur Judicial Magistrate Anil Sharma, released him on bail on the condition that he would have to give a local surety of Rs 20,000.

Gaurav would, however, remain in judicial custody till his surety papers were not submitted, the court said.
