Deeg legislator Divya Singh takes oath

Jaipur, June 1 (UNI) Newly-elected BJP legislator from Deeg, Divya Singh, today took oath in the Vidhan Sabha.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sumitra Singh administered her the oath of legislator.

Divya Singh won the May 8 bypoll defeating her nearest Congress rival Laxman Singh by over 6,000 votes.

The bypoll was necessitated by the death of Indian National Lok Dal candidate Arun Singh.
