BCCI seeks record from JKCA of first class cricketers

Srinagar, Jun 1 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sought from the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) the record of all first class cricketers of the state.

A JKCA spokesman today said BCCI was in the process of compiling the records of players eligible for the pension scheme.

He said among the eligible groups were up to 1957-1958 and the cricketers should have played a minimum of ten first class matches.

All those cricketers who have played 50 to 74 first class matches and those about 75 or more were also eligible.

The JKCA has asked the eligible cricketers to submit their claims along with supporting records to it on or before June 30.
