AIFF shortlist 34 probables for coaching camp

New Delhi, Jun 1 (UNI) All India Football Federation (AIFF) today shortlisted 34 probables for the coaching-cum-training camp in prepration of AFC Asia Cup qualifying round 2006-07.

The probables include six goal keepers, ten defenders, nine midfielders and nine strikers.

National League champion Mahindra United has got the lion's share with 11 of its players finding place in the list.

The probables: Goalkeepers: Sandeep Nandy,Subhasis Chaudhary (Mahindra United),Kalyan Chaube (JCT), Louis Barreto (Sporting Clube de Goa), Rajat Ghosh Dastigar (EB), Subroto Pal(MB) Defenders : Surkumar Singh, Mahesh Gawali, N S Manju, Deepak Mondal, K Ajayan (Mahindra United), Samir Naik (Dempo), Anupam Sarkar, Habib Ur Rehman (East Bengal), Narender Singh(JCT), N P Pradep (SBT) Midfielders: S Venkatesh, Steven Das (Mahindra United), W Tomba Singh, Mirajuddin Waddo, Manjit Singh, Dharamjit Singh (MB), Rennedy Singh (JCT), Climax Lawrence (Dempo), Nicholas Rodrigues (Sporting Clube de Goa) Strikers : Bhaichung Bhutia, Rahim Nabi, Alviro D'Cunah, Mushtaq Ahmed (EB) Abhishekh Yadav, Surajit Bose (Mahindra United), Abdul Hakim (SBT), Sunil Chetri (JCT), Bibiano Fernandes (Sporting Clube de Goa) The camp is schedule to start in Goa from June 16.
