UCI says final Armstrong report not received yet
LONDON, May 31 (Reuters) Cycling's ruling body said today it had not yet received the final report of a Dutch lawyer investigating newspaper allegations that Lance Armstrong had tested positive for drugs in 1999.
A UCI spokesman was responding to media reports saying that the lawyer, Emile Vrijman, had found there was no substance in the allegations about the seven times Tour de France winner.
The spokesman said the UCI expected to release a statement later on Wednesday.
American Armstrong, who retired last July, has denied ever using banned substances.
