Traffic resume on NH 39, blockade called off

Imphal, May 31 : Traffic resumed on the National Highway 39 today after the Manipur Senapati District Students' Association called off the indefinite blockade last night.

A large number of trucks, stranded on the Manipur-Nagaland border, started moving towards Manipur.

The Senapati students had opposed appointment of non local teachers and the government has assured to revoke the order, officials said here.
