Rare bird found at Kulingram

Basirhat, May 31 (UNI) A rare bird of Albatross species was found at Kulingram village near Gopalpur under Basirhat police station in North 24 parganas.

The bird with at least three feet-long fins and long neck was seen on an overhead electric wire this morning.

The bird was injured when some people threw bricks.

Later the injured bird was handed over to the forest department here.

Forest department official here said they would send the bird to the veterinary hospital for treatement.
