Ramadoss examines patients at AIIMS
New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) Wearing a doctor's attire and carrying a stethoscope, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Anbumani Ramadoss today went around the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here, nerve centre of the strike by students and doctors.
The Minister, a doctor himself, examined patients to inspire the striking doctors to return to work, an official statement said.
Appealing to the doctors to return to work, he said that poor patients are coming to the capital from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and other places of the country and they need the doctors' attention for removal of their sufferings.
Dr Ramadoss will visit other hospitals in the capital to review the situation following the doctors' strike, the statement added.
