Punjab Vigilance Commission to be multi-member body

Chandigarh, May 31 (UNI) The Punjab government today decided to widen the base of the State Vigilance Commission on the pattern of the Central Vigilance Commission.

The State Vigilance Commission will now be a multi-member body like the Central Vigilance Commission, under the chairmanship of the State Vigilance Commissioner.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the state Council of Ministers held here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
