Leopard menace comes to end in Gadag

Hubli, May 31 (UNI) A leopard, which had escaped from the Bindakatte zoo in Gadag district where it was lodged after being captured from a school premises here, was shot dead at Shyagoti village in Gadag district, today.

The feline, which entered the village in the morning, criss-crossed the village for three hours, leading to a tensed situation. Following this, a police team arrived at the village and shot it dead.
