Heavy rains last night bring relief

Kolkata, May 31 (UNI) Overnight heavy rains in major parts of this city and adjoining areas brought much needed relief to the people from high humid condition.

The city recorded nearly 10 mm rain, according to weather office.

Most parts remained cloudy throughout the day today with temperature recroded 35.1 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 25.1 degrees Celsius, three degrees lower than yesterday.

Met officials predicted partly cloudy sky accompanied by rain and thunder storms in the next 24 hours.
