Four killed in UP district storm

Kanpur, May 30 (UNI) Four people, including two girls, were killed and three others injured in two different villages in Mangalpur in Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh following heavy storm this evening.

Anita Devi (31) and Titu (6) died and two others were injured seriously when a wall of their house collapsed due to heavy storm in Anokhepurwa village of Mangalpur.

In another incident, both Lakshmi (10) and Gudia (5), residents of Anantpur Dhaukal, came under the trap of a wall after they took shelter under a thatched house when it was raining heavily.

They died on the spot while another person, Raja, was seriously injured.

All the three injured were admitted to the hospital.
