FAPCCI seminar on showcasing Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, May 31 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government and The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) are jointly conducting a two-day seminar on ''Showcasing AP - Steps Towards Rapid Industrialisation'' beginning June two.

Speaking to newsmen here today, FAPCCI President C V Atchut Rao said the seminar aimed to provide a good platform to discuss, exchange thoughts and share experiences on various aspects concerning the manufacturing sector, besides showcasing Andhra Pradesh as an attractive investment destination.

The focus will be on attracting investments from entrepreneurs from within and outside the state and country, leading to rapid industrialisation of the state.

Andhra Pradesh Information Minister Mohd Ali Shabbir and Tourism Minister J Geeta Reddy will participate among others.

The seminar comprised three business sessions for discussion of topics like power, infrastructure, Industrial Investment Promotion Policy 2005-10 and making the state a manufacturing hub.

Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister K Rosaiah and Lok Satta Convenor N Jayaprakash Narayan will take part in the plenary on June three.
