Azad, Tarigami condemn attack on tourists
Srinagar, May 31 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today condemned the attack on two tourist buses in Dalgate area here in which 28 visitors from West Bengal were wounded, saying the ''killers of innocent will for sure earn the curse of God.'' He described the attacks on tourists as senseless acts and suicidal moves against the interests of the people of the state.
Such acts were against the interests of students, traders, businessmen, artisans, shopkeepers, boatmen and all those related to the tourism industry, Mr Azad added.
''It is unfortunate that a small group of heartless elements are extinguishing human lives in an dastardly manner and without any care for God, religion or human values,'' the Chief Minister said.
He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir have condemned such acts time and again giving clear signals to these elements not to carry out such acts.
''These violence mongers and killers of humanity should beware of the people's wrath that is in the offing to befall on them,'' Mr Azad added.
He said no civilisation in the world treated their guests in such a brutal way as some deranged elements in the Valley were doing.
