Altair qualifies for ISO 9000-2001 rating

Bangalore, May 31: Altair Engineering, a product design consulting, engineering software and high performance computing technology major, has qualified for ISO 9000:2001 accreditation.

The company, with its focus on enhancing service and process performance, customer and employee satisfaction, had quantified its quality processes. The company's objectives of establishing, implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System with a focus on continual improvement as per the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 standards were reflected in its quality manual, a company release here said today.

Altair Managing Director Pavan Kumar said quality management system was being practiced with a vision of growth. It developed channel resources and solutions catering to local needs worldwide, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of global offices.
