Srinagar: Security guard hurt in grenade blast

Srinagar, May 30: At least two security personnel were injured in a grenade blast in the heart of the city this afternoon, official sources said.

They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a police vehicle near Naaz crossing this afternoon.

The grenade exploded causing injuries to two security personnel.

They have been hospitalised.

Security forces deployed in the area fired several shots in the air.
