Two MP youth in Indian baseball squad

Raisen, MP, May 30 (UNI) Two talented Baseball players from this district's Obaidullaganj have bagged places in the national team for the Asian Baseball Championship scheduled in Japan.

''Madhya Pradesh team skipper Sanjay Thakur and Atul Sen have been chosen. The first training camp commences on June 4 at Chandigarh,'' coach Pankaj Jain said here today.

The state's boys and girls' teams won bronze at the recently concluded 16th National Sub-Junior Championship at Solan in Himachal Pradesh. In those teams, five boys and two girls were from Obaidullagunj.
