Train delayed more than four hours due to derailment
Barasat, May 30 (UNI) Train services in the Barasat-Bangaon section of Sealdah division of Eastern railway was disrupted by more than four hours due to derailment of a Sealdah bound EMU shortly before noon, Railway sources said here.
However, no casuality was reported.
Railway, however, maintained skeleton train services between Sealdah and Barasat.
Meanwhile, a passenger was killed and 10 others were injured in a road accident while they were on their way back to Habra.
The accident occurred at Ashoknagar Navahivan colony. Six of the injured passengers were admitted to Habra hospital, police said.
