Three Dalit youth washed away in river Krishna

Machilipatnam, May 30 (UNI) Three Dalit youth were drowned in Krishna river when they were having a bath, at puligadda in Krishna district this evening.

According to police the mishap occurred when the three Ch Suresh Babu (19), Ch Vinod Babu(20) and G Vinod Babu(20), hailing from Repalli, had gone to see the new Puligadda-Penumudi road bridge across the river and went into it to bathe.

The bodies of the three victims were yet to be traced.
