Sonia reconstitutes Mahila Congress

New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi today reconstituted the All India Mahila Congress Committee with Dr Rita Bahuguna Joshi as its President again.

The reconstituted committee has six vice-presidents, seven general secretaries, six secretaries, besides a three-member NGO cell.

Dr Prabha K Taviad (Gujarat), Ms Soundaram (Tamil Nadu), Maj Krishna Mohini (Himachal Pradesh), Ms Krishna Gehlawat (Haryana), Dr Kalpana Devi (Andhra Pradesh) and Ms Wansuk Syien (Meghalaya) are the new Vice Presidents.

The new General Secretaries are : Ms Meera Singh (Uttar Pradesh), Ms Vijayalakshmi Sahoo (Orissa), Ms Kamalakshi Sarma (Celhi), Dr Shobhana Shah (Uttar Pradesh), Ms Mahajabeen Khan (Madhya Pradesh), Ms Shikha Kapoor (Bihar) and Ms Saria Khan (Rajasthan).

Ms SimI RosebelI John (Kerala), Ms Nusarat Rizvi (Chhattisgarh), Ms Indu Pawar (Jammu and Kashmir), Ms Vibha Patel (Madhya Pradesh), Ms Sushil Gupta (Punjab) and Ms Manjula Naidu (Karnataka) are the new secretaries.

The reconstituted NGO cell will have Ms Husna Subhani, Ms Ritu Tyagi and Ms Tannu Singh as members.
