Separatists condole Soz over his son-in-law's death

Srinagar, May 30 (UNI) The entire separatist leadership in Jammu and Kashmir has expressed grief over the death of Imtiyaz Hasnain, the son-in-law of Union Water Resources Minister Prof Saif ud din Soz.

A high-profile delegation of the moderate Hurriyat Conference, led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, visited Prof Soz's residence here to offer condolences.

Imtiyaz Hasnain, son of a well-known historian Fida Hasnain, died here Saturday morning after a prolonged illness.

Besides the Mirwaiz, Prof Abdul Ghani Bhat, Maulana Abbas Ansari, Bilal Ghani Lone and Aga Syed Hassan visited the Union Minister and offered their condolences.

Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) president Shabir Ahmed Shah and his party colleague Maulana Abdullah Tari, Democratic Liberation Party (DLP) chief Hashim Qureshi and Peoples Conference chairman Sajjad Ghani Lone also visited Prof Soz and expressed deep sympathies with the bereaved family.
