Rifle, wireless set recovered from Kanjar

Shajapur (MP), May 30: A rifle and a wireless set looted from two police constables were recovered from the den of nomadic Kanjar criminals, police said today.

Police said on a tip-off, the booty was recovered during joint search by police teams of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan at the Kanjar den in Unhel police station area in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district yesterday.

The four assailants, who assaulted and looted two constables Bahadur Singh and Radheshyam on patrol duty on state border on Friday, were yet to be arrested, police said.
