Packets with life threatening posters found in DM office

Purulia, May 30 (UNI) Police said today they found a packet containing Maoist posters at the premises of District Magistrate's office last evening.

Sources said the posters written in Bengali, threatened the top brass of Purulia district CPI(M) committee with dire consequences.

Police are keeping a close watch on a few government employees following the incident.

District Magistrate of Purulia Mukul Kanti Sarkar has sent the packet to Purulia Superintendent of Police Rangaswami Siva Kumar for further enquiry.
