Exhibition special train at Howrah

Kolkata, May 30 (UNI) As part of the golden jubilee celebrations of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) an exhibition special train today arrived at Howrah station on the fourth leg of its nationwide journey.

The Special Train, comprising nine coaches, is depicting the history, development, provision of new schemes in insurance for the common people and also contribution of LIC for the development of the country through models, charts, photographs and diagrams.

This train originated from Safdarjung station near Delhi on April 26 and reached Howrah station from Guwahati today. It will leave Howrah station tomorrow night for Jamshedpur.

On its arrival here the exhibition at the train was inaugurated by Eastern Railway General Manager S S Khurana and was attended by Mr Asim Kr Maitra, Divisional Railway Manager, Howrah, and Mr Niranjan Mishra and Mr M R Kumar, Regional Managers (Markeing), LIC.
