Hamirpur, May 30 (UNI) Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev today asked his followers not to panic over his safety following the arrest of a youth who had breached his security on Saturday night.

''I believe in God and have full faith in the people,'' he said, while addressing his followers on the third day of a week-long yoga camp here.

The Swami ruled out accepting ''Z Plus'' security cover for himself, saying this would distance him from the people.

Gaurav Kapoor, who arrived at Hamirpur in the same helicopter with the Swami and the Chief Minister, was detained on Saturday night from a rest house where the Swami was staying.

Meanwhile, a police team headed by Barsar Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohinder Singh interrogated Kapoor here for the fourth day and later took him to Jalandhar for verification and further questioning.

District Police Chief Daljit Singh Thakur said it was yet to be ascertained how Kapoor entered the helicopter in which Ramdev was traveling.

Meanwhile, security at the yoga camp has been further tightened and an additional 250 security men have been deployed there.

Official sources said police and security agencies were verifying the records of Kapoor's mobile phone for the past month to trace the people he had remained in touch.
