Bomb attacks kill at least 17 in Iraq
BAGHDAD, May 30 (Reuters) A suicide bomber in a car killed at least 12 people in the Iraqi town of Hilla today, police sources said.
They said 36 people were wounded in the attack near a car dealership in Hilla, 100 km (60 miles) south of Baghdad.
The mainly Shi'te town has suffered some of the biggest bombings in the Sunni guerrilla campaign to topple the Shi'ite-led government.
Hours later a car bomb killed at least five people in the northern Baghdad district of Husaniya, police said.
