Varanasi, May 30 (UNI) Even as the striking junior doctors in the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) remained undettered by the Supreme Court directive, their teachers at the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) today decided to observe 24-hr token strike in support of their wards' anti-reservation movement.

President of Association of Teachers of Modern Medicine (ATMM) Prof Indira Sharma told newspersons here, the IMS teachers will observe a token strike in support of the movement against the UPA government move to provide 27 per cent OBC reservation in higher education.

The indefinite strike by junior doctors at the Sir Sunder Lal Hospital in BHU, meanwhile, reached its's sixteenth day.
