Army destroys unexploded munition near Faridabad

New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) The bomb disposal squad of the army today destroyed nine unexploded mortar bombs and artillery shots that were found a few days ago on the Surajkund-Palli road in Faridabad district of Haryana.

Army's bomb disposal unit had been especially called in by the civil authorities to safely destroy the bombs, a statement said here.

The bombs were destroyed at a cordoned off stretch of the road near the Aravalli hills.
