Selling spree by FIIs in equity markets slows down
Mumbai, May 29 (UNI) The selling spree by foreign institutional investors (FIIs) in the equity markets has slowed down with just Rs 252.70 crore net selling recorded last Friday as compared to around Rs 1,000 crore in the earlier sessions.
FIIs were net sellers by Rs 1,632.80 crore on Thursday, Rs 1,935 crore on Wednesday and Rs 1243.20 crore on Tuesday, according to the data released by market regulator, SEBI.
With the FIIs still being net sellers, pressure on equity markets is likely to continue but the worst seems to be over, according to market observers.
