Rain and thunder storm likely to occur in Bengal

Kolkata, May 29 (UNI) Rains and thunderstorm are likely to hit the city and the neighbouring areas in next 24 hours as clouds hovered in the sky, Met office said today.

Sources said the maximum temperature was recorded 34.3 degrees Celsius today, which was one degree below the normal while the minimum temperature was 24.8 degrees Celsius. The humidity level was 96 per cent, sources added.

The city had received rainfall of around 24.3 mm in last 24 hours.
