KRA headquarters busted, four held
Diphu, May 29 (UNI) Police today busted the headquarters of the Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) in Dimapur in Nagaland and arrested four of its cadres.
Diphu Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) informed here that the KRA camp at Bulabasti, under Dimapur Urban police station, was busted in a joint operation by personnel of Asom and Nagaland.
Police were on trail of the gaonburah (village headman) of Dhansiri Kheriabasti under Diphu police station, who was kidnapped by suspected KRA militants on May 27. However, he is yet to be rescued.
The ASP further informed that various incriminating documents were recovered from the camp.
The documents stated that the Bulabasti camp was the headquarters of the KRA and the outfit had trained at least 34 cadres of the newly-floated Adivasi Liberation National Army.
