Gang of auto thieves busted

New Delhi, May 29 (UNI) The Delhi Police have busted a gang of auto thieves by arresting four robbers who indulged in stealing cash and other valuables from the scooters and motorcycles in different parts of Delhi.

The four were arrested while attempting a robbery by opening the dickey of a two wheeler parked at Bahadur Garh road.

A cash of Rs one lakh, which they had stolen from various localities in the Sadar Bazar police station area, was also recovered from their possession.

In another incident, the police arrested two autolifters involved in more than a dozen motor vehicle theft cases in Delhi.

Two motorcycles, some fake number plates and paper of motorycles were also recovered from them.
