Extra coaches for long distance trains

Kolkata, May 29 (UNI) An extra general second class coach will be attached permanently to Bhagirathi Express with effect from June 1, 2006.

Howrah-New Delhi Biweekly Express would also be augmented with one AC 2 tier, one sleeper class, one general second class and two parcel vans from Howrah from June 17, 2006 and from New Delhi from June 19, 2006 . The total number of coaches would be 22 now.

One sleeper class coach and two parcel vans would be attached to West Bengal Sampark Kranti Express, replacing two general second class and one composite coach with effect from July 28, 2006 from Sealdah and from New Delhi from July 29. The train would now have total 14 coaches.
