AP govt issues notification for teacher recruiment

Hyderabad, May 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Primary Education Minister N Rajya Laxmi today issued a notification to fill up the 20,193 vacancies for teachers in government schools in the state.

Addressing the press here, Ms Laxmi said the applications would be received from June 16 to July 17. The examination will be conducted on August 29, 30 and 31 and the results would be announced on September 30.

As many as 12,410 secundary grade teachers, 3,026 school assistants, 1,718 language pandits and 413 PET posts would be filled up and 1,372 SGTs, 515 school Assistants, 570 language pandits and 42 PET posts in agency areas, the minister said.
