YSR and PCC Chief convenes party meet

Hyderabad, May 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and state Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President K Keshava Rao today convened meeting of District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents at the state party headquarters to discuss the strategy for the coming panchayat elections.

Speaking to newspersons here, the PCC President said the meeting discussed the party's strength in the local bodies and received feedback from the DCC presidents.

He said the Chief Minister directed the Congress leaders to work hard and win all the seats which the party was contesting.

Mr Rao said the party would also have a poll alliance with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the seat adjustment would be done by the district party unit.
