Pondy boys emerge winners

Pondicherry, May 28 (UNI) Hosts Pondicherry boys and Sri Lankan girls bagged the title in the 4th Junior National seven-a-side football championships here today.

In the finals, Pondicherry boys prevailed over a fighting Manipur 3-2, while the Sri Lankan girls beat Tamil Nadu 1-0.

Pondicherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy gave away the prizes.
