Pakistani national arrested for violating visa rules

Jamnagar, Gujarat, May 28 (UNI) A Pakistani national was arrested by the city police here today for violation of VISA permission under Foriegner Act, 1946.

According to police sources, one Mohammedjaved Mohammedhussain (37), a resident of Karachi in Pakistan, was arrested by local crime branch (LCB) police for making unauthorised entry into Jamnagar district as Indian Consultate had given him VISA to enter Mumbai in Maharashtra and Junagadh town in Gujarat.

The accused was nabbed for interrogation by the LCB from the city on May 21, but, after questioning him for several days, he was finally arrested today under section 14 of Foreigner Act, 1946, sources said.
