Mozambique invites Haryana farmers
Chandigarh, May 28 (UNI) In view of the significant advancement made by the farmers of Haryana, the High Commissioner of Mozambique, Carlos Agostinho do Rosario has invited them for imparting technical know-how to their counterparts in his country so as to give a boost to the agricultural activities.
Mr Rosario was interacting with the farmers at the farm house of Mr Ramesh Dagar, the President of Farmers Welfare Club at village Akbarpur Barota of district Sonepat.
He said that the farmers of Haryana would be given 1000 acres of land on lease of 50 years for this purpose. He also assured that the farmers visiting his country would be given all the necessary facilities including visa, boarding and lodging and food free of cost.
He added that the land, climatic conditions and atmosphere of his country were similar to that of India.
