Anand (Gujarat), May 28 (UNI) India's performance in One-Day International (ODI) matches against West Indies in ongoing series in should not dishearten Indian cricket fans as ''you win some, you lose some'' is the basic rule of the shorter version of the cricket, former allrounder Manoj Prabhakar here said today.

Mr Prabhakar, who was on a private business visit here, told mediapersons that Indian team's loss was not because of degradable performances but results tilted in favour of the hosts in closely contested matches.

However, the allrounder said, it was saddening to see that some promising stars after making vertical rise of fame, were losing their needed devotion for the game resulting in bad performances.

Commenting on too much experiments with the team's formation, the former cricketer said, selectors should choose a balance side with experienced and budding stars.

While commenting on Saurav Ganguly he said Saurav'' is very good cricketer and can make a comeback. But it's he himself who will judge about his future in cricket.
