India-Pak to hold Home Secretary level talks
New Delhi, May 28 : India and Pakistan will hold a two-day Home Secretary level talks in Islamabad from Tuesday, focussing on terrorism, drug trafficking and exchange of fishermen and other prisoners between the two countries.
Home Secretary V K Duggal will head a nine-member Indian delegation while Pakistani team will be headed by its interior secretary Syed Kamal Shah.
The talks, part of the on-going composite dialgoue process, will focus on the recent spurt of terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir with India stressing for closure of 59 militant camps operating from across the border.
India will remind Pakistan of its committments not to allow use of POK for terror activities.
The frame-work for the talks have been approved by the PMO and the Home Ministry.
