Gold ornaments stolen from bank

Thrissur, May 28 (UNI) Gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 1.5 crore were stolen from a cooperative bank at Kanjani in this district of Kerala last night.

Police today said 17 kg of gold, kept in 1,133 packets in the bank locker and Rs 6.36 lakh in cash were robbed by an unidentified gang from the extension counter of the Manalur Cooperative Bank.
