Five teachers suspended for dereliction of duty

Darbhanga, May 28 : Five teachers were suspended today for dereliction of duties during fifth phase of Panchayat elections in Bihar's Darbhanga district yesterday.

District Magistrate Upendra Sharma said here the suspended teachers had even refused to accept the appointment letters for their election duty. They are Hari Narain Singh, Jagannath Chaudhary, Asheshwar Yadav, Kailash Prasad Mahto and Chandresekhar Chaudhary.

They were posted in different primary schools of Keoti block under Darbhanga district, Mr Sharma added.
