Christians protest against Da Vinci Code in Chennai
Chennai, May 28 (UNI) Christians today took out a protest rally, demanding the ban on screening of the controversial film 'The Da Vinci Code' in the city on June two.
The protestors, led by Rev Sebastian, Priest of a local Church in Perambur in North Chennai raised slogans against the film, which they said hurt the sentiments of the Christian community.
A large number of Christians and religious leaders who took part in the agitation, wore black badges and held placards, denouncing the film and demanding its immediate ban.
They also resolved to stage demonstrations in front of cinema houses where the film would be released on June two.
