Additional chargesheet making Rana main accused filed

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) Delhi Police has filed an additional chargesheet in a local court in the Sher Singh Rana jailbreak case, making him the main accused.

The chargesheet was filed in Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sema Mani court yesterday.

On May 31, evidence will be examined in the case.

Rana had escaped from the 'maximum security' Tihar jail with the help of his ''friends'' who ''got'' his 'custody' on a fake warrant on February 17 2004.

He is also the main accused in the murder of dacoit-turned-MP Phoolan Devi. The case will be heard in the Patiala House UNI XR SB PM1739
