Accident claims five lives in Arunachal

Itanagar, May 28 (UNI) At least five people, including a woman, were killed when their vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Kimin last night.

Police said here today that the Itanagar-bound Tata Sumo coming from Daporijo in Upper Subansiri district met with the accident while negotiating a sharp curve.

A police rescue team rushed to the spot.

Indo Tibetan Border Police personnel had been requisitioned for launching the rescue operation.
