9 IPS officers transferred in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, May 28 (UNI) In a minor administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government today transferred nine IPS officers, official sources said today.

Raipur's Senior Superintendent of Police Ashok Juneja was shifted as Director (Sports and Youth Welfare) and Bilaspur's SSP B S Marawi would assume Mr Juneja's previous post.

Sarguja's SP Arun Dev Gautam was moved to Bilaspur, Mahasamund's SP Dipanshu Kabra was assigned to Raigarh in place of Mr R K Bhedia who was posted as Assistant Inspector-General, Raipur. City SP, Raipur, V K Choubey was transferred as SP, Sarguja.

Asst IG (Headquarters) J K Thorrat was shifted as SP, Mahasamund, Asst IG (HQ) S K Bramhe was moved to the 3rd Battalion here and Asst IG (HQ) J S Batti was assigned to the 5th battalion stationed at Jagdalpur in Bastar.
