Two Maoists killed in encounter

Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh, May 27 (UNI) Two naxals belonging to CPI (Maoist) party were killed in an encounter with police near Rekulapally villlage of Sarangapur mandal in this district tonight.

Police exchanged fire with the Maoists while conducting a combing operation. Two Maoist were killed on the spot, police said.

One Maoist was identified as Praveen, District Committee member of the Maoist party and the other was yet to be ientified, police added.
