Tulsi Ram quits TDP, to join Cong
Hyderabad, May 27 (UNI) Former Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Vice President V V Tulsi Ram today announced his resignation from the primary membership of the party.
In a statement here, Mr Ram said he sent his resignation letter to TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu who is currently in Rajamundry in connection with the party's conclave.
He said he would be joining the Congress tomorrow.
Mr Ram, who joined the TDP when it was formed by matinee idol N T Rama Rao in 1982, had twice represented the party in Parliament.
Earlier, he was a member of Lok Sabha in the 70's representing the Telangana Praja Samithi.
