Suspected militant shot dead by AR jawans

Imphal, May 27 (UNI) A suspected militant was shot dead today by troops of Assam Rifles at Pangei Nepali Basti in Imphal east.

Police said a brief encounter took place suspected militants and Assam Rifles jawans.

Police are yet to identify the victim.
